Maria has been a professional vocal coach for 3 years, working with students ranging from 5 years old to adults. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of working as a vocal coach in esteemed music studios such as Let it Beat!, School of Rock, and Centertone. Her experience in guiding individuals of various ages and skill levels has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of vocal techniques and pedagogical approaches.

In addition to her vocal coaching, Maria has also worked extensively in schools as a student shadow and substitute, gaining valuable experience and expertise in working with children. Her interactions with students have further enriched her understanding of mentorship and education.

Born in Bogotá, Colombia, and raised in Miami, Florida, Maria's passion for music emerged early in life. From organizing school shows to entertaining family and friends, she found joy in performance from a young age. Her musical upbringing was diverse, encompassing everything from Disney tunes to Latin hits and film soundtracks. At just 9 years old, Maria began her musical journey as part of a Spanish religious choir, aiming to touch hearts with vulnerable lyrics and melodies.

After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2016 with dual majors in Music Business Management and Professional Music, focusing on Songwriting and Performance, Maria embarked on her professional career. Today, she serves as the lead singer for the choir and is sought after for special events such as weddings and funerals, in addition to performing her original compositions.

Maria's music is deeply inspired by real-life experiences and addresses topics often left unspoken. Influenced by the poetic lullabies of Juan Luis Guerra, the storytelling prowess of Ed Sheeran, and the exploration of societal gender stereotypes, her songs resonate with authenticity and emotion.

Her upcoming single, "the truth is," is a heartfelt love song capturing the exhilarating moment of confessing love for the first time.
